$40 a month supports a child in Cambodia's education.
Local Partner
Bora Cheanng and his wife, Bunry, are devoted to serving the local church in Cambodia. Since 2012, Bora has faithfully served on the leadership team of their church and regularly preaches as a lay pastor and recently become an elder of an international church, while Bunry invests through worship and sports ministry. In addition, Bora plays a key role with ACTION Cambodia, where he writes, translates, and edits biblical resources to strengthen the Cambodian church; work the Lord is already using in remarkable ways through their growing platform.
Bora’s life has been deeply shaped by the generosity of others. Once an orphan who was given the opportunity for education and support through faithful believers, he now carries a clear calling: to become a conduit of that same grace. Through supporting children, encouraging pastors, advancing biblical translation, and helping build the local church, Bora is committed to ensuring that what was given to him does not stop with him, but multiplies into the lives of many more.
How We Partner
We come alongside Bora Cheanng as a local partner, not to replace the work God is already doing through him, but to strengthen and expand it. Bora’s life is a testimony of what happens when someone is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and be discipled and his desire is to see that same opportunity multiplied across a new generation in Cambodia.
Our role is to advocate for that vision and help build the support needed to sustain it. Through partnership, we work to raise financial resources that provide access to education for children who would otherwise go without it. These efforts help cover school expenses, create pathways for long-term learning, and open doors for discipleship through the local church.
At the same time, we support the broader ministry God has entrusted to Bora strengthening local pastors, contributing to biblical resource development, and investing in church-centered discipleship. We believe that education and the gospel go hand in hand, shaping not only individual lives but the future of families, communities, and the nation as a whole.
By working together, we are able to do more than either could alone. This partnership allows Bora to continue leading and ministering within his own context, while we help mobilize others to give, pray, and participate. Our shared hope is to see a generation raised up in Cambodia that is both educated and deeply rooted in Christ.
